Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 2003 Ford Explorer Airconditioning, vacuum gauge, center vent

Question
This one even has me going nuts.I have a problem with a Ford explorer A/C system. When running the A/C in max or regular cooling the left drivers vent and the left side of the center vent run warm air.The right side passenger vent and the right side of the center vent blows cold air(normal A/C).All the vent positions are ok and the airflow is good.Is there a divider between the 2 center vents?I'm not sure what to check next.

Answer
Mark,

I would check the switch and see if it has power or vacuum using a test light or a vacuum gauge I'm not sure if it is vacuum or electrically controlled you can . I would then look under the dash and check the blend door for the heater and a/c vent because that might be stuck open or closed depending on how it works, and see if the motor or vacuum control has power or vacuum.
