Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 98 buick regal AC problem, buick regal, zone control

I have a 98 Buick Regal LS. The AC started to blow warm air on the driver side (it is dual zone control) a few months ago. I have the mechanic checked it and recharged R134. The system started to work for a while and then both sides blow warm air recently. I recharged 1 can (12oz) of R134 by myself this time using the kit from Walmart. However, only the passenger side blow cool air after the recharging. I checked the pressure on the low side of the system. Seems it is already on the high end of the normal range and I doubt it needs more refrigent. Could you give some hint? Thanks a lot!

HI STEVE, YOU MAY HAVE TWO PROBLEM HAPPENING HERE.IT`S OBVIOUS YOU HAVE A FREON LEAK GOING ON AND THAT NEEDS TO BE DETERMINED FIRST.THE DASH CONTROLS ARE OPERATED BY A CLIMATE CONTROL MODULE AND IF NOT FAMILIAR WITH THAT TYPE OF SYSTEM I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND AN A/C SPECIALIST THAT CAN DIAGNOSIS IT.SOME SYSTEMS REQUIRE A SCAN COMPUTER TOOL TO ACCESS THE COMPUTER IN CAR FOR TESTING.
