Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: answer to your question, ambiant air, hi ed

I tried the water thing and yes the temp dropped. the drier is hot to touch and the expansion valve is not cold but cooler than the ambiant air. the compressor is a rebuilt. the liquid line is very hot as so is the condenser. the outside air is 100 degrees because I live in AZ.

HI ED, BEFORE ADDING IN NEW PARTS DID YOU FLUSH THE CONDENSER AND EVAP?... AT THE OUTLET OF THE EXPANSION VALVE-"LARGER LINE" -IS IT CONDENSATING AT THAT POINT AND ALL THE WAY TO THE COMPRESSOR LOW SIDE? IF IT`S NOT, WE GOT A BAD VALVE. THE SMALLER LINE INTO THE EVAP SHOULD WARM TO TOUCH. LET ME KNOW.THAT LOW SIDE LINE SHOULD BE SWEATING AT #2 FAN SPEED  WITHIN 20MINS. OF RUNNING TIME. LET ME KNOW RESULTS.
