Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: a/c 1999 ford taurus, 134a freon, ford taurus

I am trying to charge my a/c system on my 1999 ford taurus. I bought a recharge kit from a local parts store.Can you please tell me how to locate the lowside to put the 134a freon in? or is it that simple? please advise...

Hello Mike,The low side service valve to charge the a/c is located near the right fender-locate the accumulator-
filter against the firewall.It`s a cylinder-looking unit.
a service port may be on the flter or on the large metal line that travels from it to the compressor.
