QUESTION: I have a 1984 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic.  It has a tilt steering column.  My problem is the steering wheel is now loose at the tilt mechanism, can be moved it up/down, left,right and diagonally.  I have examined the column housing inside the cab, and can not identify a way to remove the cover to gain access to the tilt mechanism.  Can the tilt mechanism be accessed? If so how?
