Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 95 wrangler r134a recharge, electronic leak detector, jeep wrangler

Question
I have a 95 Jeep wrangler with a four cyl and i want to recharge the 134a but i am not sure where i need to do it at. The accumulator has a fittining that screws out of it but if it is the right place to recharge at i can not find a hose to fit into it which leads me to belive that it might not be the right spot to do it at.

Answer
If the system is low on freon it must have a leak somewhere.

You need to:

find the leak with an electronic leak detector.

remove all the remaining freon.

evacuate the system via a vacuum pump to remove the air in the system.

Recharge the system using a set of AC gages to make sure you do not overcharge it.
