Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Radiator fans / sensors, amp fuse, radiator fans

Question
'98 Ford Taurus, 145K miles, 3.0 L, Air w/ manual temp, Pwr windows.   My Radiator fans seem to have quit working.  Car runs a little warmer but about middle on temp guage.  Guage goes to upper edge when going up a longer hill.   Air works fine,  Heater quit working abour 1 year ago.  Radiator fans never kick in.   The 40 amp fuse is good.   What sensor(s)  should cause the fans to kick on ?           Thanks, Bob

Answer
Without performing numerous tests on the fan, the fan controller, the numerous sensors and relays the faulty component is impossible to make a guess as to what it could be.

You will need to have a technician perform numerous tests on these components.
