Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: No AC when it Rains???, chev tahoe, electrical connection

I have a 2001 Chev Tahoe.  When it rains out my a/c quits.  When it dries it works again.  this even happened going through a car wash!
Any ideas??

It sounds like you have a loose electrical connection at the compressor.

Try spraying some water all over the compressor using a windex spary bottle when the engine is running and the compressor is engaged.

You also may have a stretched A/C belt that when it gets wet it slips around the pulley and is not turning the compressor.
