Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Ford Mustang a/c blowing warm air..., electronic leak detector, ford mustang

My 98 Ford Mustang has stopped cooling.  I recall earlier in the spring when I turned on the air the car felt like it slowed down a little while driving...then, it stopped cooling it only blows out hot air.  I looked under the hood and the compresser is not rotating and it won't take freon...what could be the problem and about how much should it cost to repair it?  I've never had a problem with my a/c until now.

You most likely have a leak in the A/C system in one of the major components or one of the hoses and will need an electronic leak detector to find the leak.

The reason that you can't add freon is that atmospheric air has enetered into the system du to the leak.
