Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: air flow, saturn dealer, saturn ion

My car is a 2003 Saturn Ion. My air conditioning only comes on when the fan is on the highest setting. Even on this setting, the air output is low but it is also cool. The car does not appear to be running hot, either when I run the air or not. Any suggestions?

Go into your SAturn dealer's parts department and order a FAN BLOWER RESISTOR. It should almost fit in the palm of your hand and has about 3 colis of wire attached to a fibre or plastic board.

This resistor is usually located next to the blower motor.
