Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: low pressure side air conditioning, ford focus zx3, electronic leak detector

I have a 2000 ford focus zx3 and can not find the low side pressure fill valve to fill the airconditing system the dealer said it was on the front passanger side but i cannot locate it.

WHY do you need to find it. If you need to find it you must have an A/C problem, Most likely a leak and loss of some, most or all of the freon. If this IS the case just finding the LOW side port is NOT going to fix your problem. You will need:

1. An electronic leak detector of which works similarly like a metal detector but a leak detector senses freon and the detector emits a loud squeel when it detects freon.

2. The EXACT amount of freon to install.

3. A set of A/C gages to see what PRESSURES your A/C system is indicating.

and this is just the start.

What is the problem with the A/C ?.
