Sounds like we are GUESSING and HOPING that if we keep replacing parts were bound to fix the problem ?.

I have no intent to be rude or dis-respectful, BUT, Changing parts of which you cannot be 100% TOTALLY POSITIVE if these replaced parts are working at 100% efficiency can or maybe adding to your original problem.

I need a SHORT NOVEL on the vehicles repair history, EVERYTHING, that was performed and or replaced on the vehicle.

When did this problem start to occur ?. Was it within a few days or weeks of a PREVIOUS repair of something else.

Tell me what is the EXACT problem and WHAT don't work WHEN .
Vehicle was just purchased and came with problem. Wiring was accidently
cut when removing the inside headliner, rewired.put in new radio w/cd
wire unpluged on back of radio. replaced mode selector, replace bcm, replaced hvac control head. Cool air still blows out center vents, will not change position and blows cool even when switched to heat. Thats the only history I know.

You stated: "Wiring was accidently cut when removing the
         inside headliner.".

What EXACT wires and WHAT components were effexted from this accidental wire cutting ?.

I hope it was NOT the speaker wires to the electronic radio.

If these WERE radio wires you may have fried one or more of the controllers. But we MUST identify EXACTLY what wires were cut.

Fill me in, In lengthy detail.

You also stated: "put in new radio w/cd wire unpluged on
         back of radio.".

Question: Why CD wire unplugged ?.

Question: WHY did you replace the BCM.

Question: WHY did you replace the hvac control head ?.

Question: WHY did you replace the mode selector ?.

I'm trying to get as much information as possible to see what IS or is NOT related to this wire cutting incident.

My Chrysler expertise is not that many years of hands on Chrysler diagnostics and repair so bear with me.

I am not sure if the radio is or is NOT partially controlled by the BCM or not.

I think your problem is with the DAMPER door controller and it is either vacuum or electric motor operated via the input and outut signals of the BCM.

I will have to look a little deepera s you get me answers to my above questions.

autohelp cutting the wires when removing the headliner caused everything inside the veh not to work , no dashlites no radio, power windows would not work, power seats did not work. Sent it to a dealership they are the ones who said the mode selectorce needed replaced then they called back and said the bcm needed replaced but wanted to charge 400.00 for the labor and bcm so I bought the bcm and installed it my self, nothing that has been done so far as changed anything,I,ve called several diffent dealerships and they all say to replace something else. The radio has  a place to plug in two of the 3 connection wire, but the radio works fine. I could not find a vaccume hose off the top of the maniford .

Answer
You ststed: "but the dealer wanted to charge 400.00 for
         the labor and bcm.

YES, But this cost involved checking every wires incoming and outgoing voltages to and from different inter-related components that the BCM requires in order to process and deliver the appropriate response for the A/C-Heater controls.

This is a very time consuming job as there are approx 25 to 50 wires that must be tested INDIVIDUALLY BEFORE the BCM can be replaced.

If ALL of these wires are NOT tested and you have a faulty inter-related component failure and you do NOT fix the inter-related component failure FIRST and you just go ahead and plug in a new BCM, You most likely FRIED a NEW BCM, A new hvac control head and a new mode selector.

Today's vehicles work on voltages from UNDER ONE volt up to and including normal battery voltage.

EXAMPLE: Let's say you had a radio speaker that was shorted to ground and FRIED the electronic radio/CD. If you just went ahead and installed a ned radio/CD, As soon as you turned it ON, You just FRIED your new radio/CD because you did not test and fix the shorted speaker.

Unless you have expertise in electronics and the equipment and knowledge to perform the test procedures, You will have to have either the dealer or a reputable knowledgeable facility perform the diagnostics.

Do NOT be surprised if you are told that one or more of the NEW components that you installed is FRIED and must be replaced.

I am sure that you are aware that you CANNOT return ELECTRICAL PARTS such as the ones that you replaced as they are considered NON-RETURNABLE.

However, You can send them to me as I repair most electronic components, If cost worthy to do so and you may be able to sell them as RE-MANUFACTURED components on let's say E-bay for example.
