QuestionCan you tell me where I can find the heater box on my 1998 Chevy Venture? The lower settings on the fan switch are not working so I was told that it's a resistor problem. This resistor is located on the heater box and should be replaced ( this is the information I got from a chat room )

That's WHY I don't use CHAT ROOMS, To many guessers and wanna-be's.
The blower motor fan resistor is located next to the blower fan for providing air into the air outlets on your dash.
It is has a 2 or 3 or 4 wire electrical connector attached to it and is mounted on the big black plastic housing and is held onto the housing by 2 screws.
If you go to any auto parts store and buy a NEW one, You will be able to see what you are looking for.
PLEASE keep your questions on the ALLEXPERTS BOARD because without it, Us volunteers would NOT be needed.
I do not have a staff of people helping me answer your questions, I do it all by myself, except some typing help from my wife or son as the old fingers just don't flex as well as they used to.
