Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 1993 Pontiac Sunbird Air Conditioning, 1993 pontiac sunbird, pontiac sunbird

Question
My dad changed the radiator in my 1993 Pontiac Sunbird and now my air conditioner doesn't work.  If you turn on the A/C it blows air but the air compressor won't engage. No juice is going to the air compressor. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Answer
PLEASE do NOT refer NORMAL BATTERY CURRENT as JUICE. JUICE is something you drink and battery acid is something I do not care to drink.

OK, There are a couple of possibilities:

1. Are you POSITIVE that the A/C worked PERFECTLY BEFORE the radiator was replaced ?>

2. Look for any loose and or disconnected wire(s) near where the work was performed when replacing the radiator.

3. An A/C line and or connection may have been accidently loosened and or a line damaged causing the refrigerant (freon) to be expelled from the A/C system.

You will need to have someone who has a set of A/C test gages put them on the system to see if there is still refrigerant in it.
