Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: automotive air conditioning/heating, fuse block, automotive air conditioning

Question
1993 Suburban with front and rear heating and cooling.  After the battery had been disconnected for about an hour and reconnected, I discovered the controls for the front a/c and heat, and fan were out.  However, the rear controls worked, using the rear control panel for the rear a/c and heat.  I checked the fuse, and it was OK.
There are no fusible links listed for the a/c-heater, and only one 25amp fuse in the fuse block for both front and rear units.  Help!
There has been no problem 'til now.

Answer
I really do not know WHY the front system is not working. Just removing the battery cable should not cause this type of problem.

I do not have an electrical schematic for your YEAR and MAKE of vehicle so I can only suggest that you find a reputable reliable facility to perform the diagnosis.
