Auto body repair & detailing: box rails, gmc sierra, dodge ram

i have a 2005 gmc sierra and im looking for chrome box rails and i found a set but there off a 2005 dodge ram his truck and my truck r both short boxes is there a way that i can put these on my truck thanks

Hi Jamie!...There should be no problem being able to install a set from a Dodge onto a GMC, or from any other make for that matter. The only thing that you might need to adjust, is the length of the rails, (which can be cut using a cut-off saw or a hacksaw), as the length of boxes do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, even though they are all called short boxes. The steak holes, in which the rails are usually mounted, are generally always the same size. If you have any further questions, please drop me a line....Thanks....Dave
