Auto body repair & detailing: clk seats repair, 2000 clk 320, seat motor

Hi, I have a 2000 clk 320 and my seats on both side want move forward or backwards, when u push the button to move it you here clicking sounds but no movement,the motor is fine what could be causing it to no work

I WOULD ONLY BE GUESSING AT THE PROBLEM BUT HERE ARE SOME POSSIBLE CAUSES

THE GEAR THAT CONNECTS THE SEAT MOTOR TO THE SEAT FRAME IS WORN OUT.
THE INTERNAL PART OF THE SEAT MOTOR IS TO WEAK TO MOVE SEAT.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE IT CHECKED OUT TO FIND OUT IF THE PROBLEM IS ELECTRICAL OR
MECHANICAL. YOU MAY BE SURPRISED AT THE RESULTS...A CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN WOULD BE ABLE TO PINPOINT THE PROBLEM AND ADVISE.
