Auto body repair & detailing: 99 Suburban cargo door hinge pins, door hinge, air hammer

Question
I need to replace the barn door hinge pins and bushings on my '99 Suburban and am thus far unable to get any movement out of the upper pins, the lowers look very inaccessible without door or bumper removal. All advice appreciated. Also,I have replaced the driver's door pins and bushings a couple of times in the last couple of years but the upper hinge holes seem to have become elongated. Is there a reasonably easy fix for this problem.Thanks.

Answer
The front door hinge bushing holes need welded in the elongated areas and carefully re-formed with something like a dremmel tool. It will take an air hammer to remove the rear door pins- If the hinges bolt to the door and body, it's easier to replace the hinges- if not- well maybe you better see a local body shop. Bill
