Answer
ray, first make a templet using heavy art paper, or pizza box,[green think] when templet fits perfect, mark all bends, kinks, ridges, etc. use templet as your pattern and lay on a sheet of 22 ga cold rolled steel non galvanized.after all marks are transferred to the metal lay it top of several layers of thick corrugated cardboard  1 in thick [ recycled of course] .use a heavy hammer and a block of hardwood 2x4 beat in the shapes you have drawn on the metal[shape the wood or make several shapes  ;  wedge, round, square etc.  after you beat in the shape, cut ,trim, fit panel to match, hold in place with TECH SCREWS 3/4" #8, hammer to fit , M I G WELD , REMOVE SCREWS,WELD  SCREW HOLES
