Auto body repair & detailing: ext cab replace/repair panels, literature section, chevy truck

I have a 1990 gmc ext cab S-15 on the ext cab michigan rust took over and im triing to find both pass/driver side panels from seam on back of cab to door jam and rocker panel and best way for repair any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob, I can't teach you how to do this in an e-mail. Year one, the restoration parts people, have a book in their literature section called how to restore your chevy truck. There may be other online sources for restoring S-10's. You can get parts from ebay, just to name one source. A visit to a local body shop may be better- they might sell you some aftermarket rust panels from one of their sources (every body shop has an aftermarket connection) they will surely charge a mark-up, but it won't be any more than paying shipping from an online source. Body shops get free shipping from local/regional distributors. The shop will surely have a couple helpful pointers for you, and be a potential place to take it to have it painted when you are finished. Bill
