Auto body repair & detailing: door replaed, inch gap, dodge van

Question
I had to replace my 2000 dodge van door, I had it painted and then tried to put the door back on. I got all four bolts on, but the door would not close, so take the top bold off and it does close now, but when the door is close, there is a an inch gap from the front panal and the door ?

how do i get the door to lane up ?

Either the used door is damaged, or more likely, the hinges or hinge pillar is bent. If it's bent, you will never get the door to line up. You need to take it to a body shop and see if they can tell you if the pillar is bent, and give you an estimate on pulling it back out if it is. Bill
