Question
i have a xr100 1999 and a cr125 1986 and it dont run but the xr100 does and i was wondering if i could take the whole xr100 engine and pipe and put it on the cr125 chasis so i can have a jumping bike ?

Answer
Cam,

not to discourage you from trying new projects but
these bikes have completely different frames
and mounting brackets. Also the engines
are opposite, 4 stroke in the 100 and two stroke
in the 125. On the average 4 stroke or "4 cycle"
engines are taller due to the larger head with
camshafts and valves in them.
It would require alot of modification to get
the engine mounted and running. Anything
can be done with money and labour but
it is not just an easy switch with two
different models like this.
The ignition and wiring systems are also
very different.
