Auto body repair & detailing: 2003 quarter panel..., little fender bender, dodge neon

Question
Dear Laren,
I'm not sure where I should go to look some of this info up. I got in to a little fender bender in a 2003 Dodge Neon. Most of the damage was done to the drivers side quarter panel.

What i'm wondering is how do i replace this piece myself (is there a tutorial online somewhere or is it easier then that?!)?

Besides that what should i do about the part salvage yard, new fabrication or order used?

Thank you very much for your time and help

Answer
Amanda, To replace a quarter panel yourself would not be recommended, you would need a uni spotter which is expensive, frame machine also expensive and a whole list of other tools, please take your car to a reputable body shop and have them replace it for you. However if you meant the front fender then that would be a project you could possibly do your self. To save money check with your local recycling yards for a fender make sure you have a body shop paint it first before you bolt it on, that way they can properly paint the inside edges before its on the car. As far as any online tutorial for body repair I am not familiar with any. Thanks Laren
