I am thinking about purchasing a vehicule that is an 2008 model. The price is excellent, but I fear there may have been repainted due to an accident. I did a car proof report but the vehicule is clean. How can I tell if has been repainted by the dealer?

Hi John,

If the dealer done a good job you probably won't be able to tell. Usually, inside the doors if you lift the weather stripping you may be able to see a break in the paint where the fresh stops and the OEM starts. If it was painted it would have had to been masked up somewhere unless they painted the whole car completely disassembled.
