Auto body repair & detailing: estimate to reposition explorer bumper, dodge stratus, ford explorer
ford photoshop
I rear-ended an early 90s ford explorer last week, and the guy is to call me back with an estimate for the repairs. The main notable damage is the rear bumper dropped several inches. how much should i expect to pay for this type of repair? To make up for the lack of specifics, i tried to photoshop an image to portray what it looks like. thanks! (btw- my car was a 98 dodge stratus)

Answer
It looks to me like the most they will have to replace is the bumper and the brackets, make sure you are only paying for after market or used parts, the car is an older model and even an insurance company would look for alternative parts on something this old. Expect to pay between three and five hundred dollars.
