Auto body repair & detailing: Nose damage, mitsubishi eclipse, nose damage

Question
Hey there, I drive a 2002 mitsubishi eclipse rs. A short while a go a rear-ended someone at traffic light. The damage was minor, my nose slid under the bumper of the car. It buckled my hood slightly, cracked the front bumper, no mechanical damage. Now I've purchased replacement parts, new hood, front bumper, front bumper reinforcement. My brother and I want to do the work ourselves. Now my brother mentioned to me that he feels the frame might be tweaked a little bit, though the hood is slightly buckled, it does sit funny on the car. The hood shuts above the passenger headlight, but sticks up with an inch and a half gap above the drivers side headlight, because of that he feels the frame might have pushed a little from the nose in front of the passenger head light. If so, what do I do to try and fix this and how?

Answer
I doubt you you have any serious structure damage if the fenders are undamaged. Make sure you don't have any other broken or bent pieces under the hood. Sounds to me that all you have is cosmetic damage.
Send a good picture if you can, I could tell more with visual.
