Auto body repair & detailing: Chipped bumper and body, auto body shop, paint supply

Question
Auto body repair & detailing: Chipped bumper and body, auto body shop, paint supply
Car
Recently I was reversing my 1998 Honda Logo and misjudged the distance between the rear of my car and the Jeep behind me and hit it. The Jeep luckily was not damaged at all, but the rear of my car, just above the plastic bumper hit the Jeep's winch (the pointy bit) and scratched the bumper. I'm not too worried about the bumper but the metal part just above it got a small chunk knocked out (maybe 1cm x 1cm size, maybe a tiny bit bigger, sort of circle shaped). It is located just above where the plastic bumper and metal part of the car meet. The paint is is flaking around that area where it got hit. I'm worried that if i don't get it repaired it may rust, and also if my mom finds out she definately won't be pleased...... Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated! :)

Answer
Hi Angela,

I would go to your local auto parts store or automotive paint supply house and buy the correct color touch-up tube for your car. You will also need to buy a touch-up primer to prime the metal area before touching up with paint. This at least will stop the rust from forming. If you want to get it fixed the right way take it to a auto body shop. I hope this helps.
