Auto body repair & detailing: tail light panel replacement, spot welds, mach 1

Question
I have to replace the tail light panel on my 73 Mach 1. After removing all of the bolts, how do i remove the panel without damaging the other components. It looks like an  epoxy is holding it, but is stronger than anything I've run into.
Thanks!

Answer
It is spot welded to the quarters and trunk floor. Inside the trunk, you will see pinch welds towards the ends. Drill these out with a 5/15 drill bit. Take off the bumper and you will see spot welds midway in the panel behind the bumper. Drill these out with a5/15 drill bit. Work your way around the panel, chiseling it the rest of the way off. Be very careful, you will easily destroy the adjoining panels if you aren't.
