Auto body repair & detailing: BEGINNER, enough money, painters

WHAT DOES ONE DO WHEN HE IS JUST LEARNING THE JOB OR DOES THAT JUST DEPEND ON WHATS UP TO BE DONE.  I MEAN THERE IS THIS ENRTY LEVEL HELPER JOB AND I'VE WANTED TO GIVE THIS TYPE OF WORK A TRY SO i GUESS WHAT I AM ASKING IS WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE ME.  I MEAN I FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND I LIKE WORKING WIT MY HANDS LOVE CARS.

You are off to a good start. This is a tough business. My advice is to take this up as something to fall back on in case something better falls through. I've been in it a long time, my knees a shot and I feel like 90 years old at the end of the day. You can make a lot of money working for the right shop when you young. When you get older, look out. Keep in mind that quality is first, It does not matter if a job does not have enough money on it, make sure it is perfect anyway. Your name is on that job your work will speak for itself. What out for painters, they can be ornery, I know, that's where I started.
Go to college, learn something that won't kill you or make you an old man.
