Auto body repair & detailing: colorsanding a blend, polishing wheel, fender

Hello.. is it possible to colorsand on a blend spot (corner of a bumber or blend edge of a trunk or fender etc.) to help with the dullness of the blend?Or any tips on how to blend with out it being so noticeable  thanks

Hi Jon,

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you.

Unfortunately there is no way to avoid a blended clear coat area from having the sun burn it. You can, however, try running over the area with a polishing wheel and good polish (3M Perfect It series is good...especially the "Extra Cut" compound). This will probably bring it back to life some. I would avoid wet sanding it, as you will want to remove as little material as possible.
