Auto body repair & detailing: Windshield replacement problems, chevy astro van, chevy astro

Question
I have a 2000 Chevy Astro van.
I had to have the windshield replaced 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday I took it out on the expressway and it sounded
like a window was open on the front passenger side. Which of course it wasn't.
Pulled over to take a look and it looks like that the top of the passenger door may not be lined up correctly with the body of the van. The pinstripes on the passenger door and the side door match up but the top of the passenger door is kinda pushed out from the top of the van.  Do you know if this could be a problem with an improperly installed windshield?  Do you know if this is a common problem after having a windshield replaced? I'm trying to find out before I call Safelite so that can deal with them in an informed way.

Thanks,
Jo

Answer
Jo-

I hope I have responded soon enough for you. It is more likely a problem with the reveal moulding on the right side of the windshield than the door itself. I believe the door seals against this rubber weatherstrip of the windshield? It could be loose or not aligned properly. Safelite will undoubtedly take care of an issue like this. Don't elaborate too much with them just describe that you are hearing a wind noise since they replaced the glass and would they please take a look because it wasn't doing that before. Good Luck- Mark
