Auto body repair & detailing: Door hinges on 00 Blazer, door hinges, leak air

Question
Greetings! I have an '00 4 door Blazer S-10 that my wife drives. She started having troubles closing the door, so I looked into it, and the hinge pins and bushings were completely shot. I replaced them myself, but could not finish due to the holes in the hinge itself were oval'd. What would you recommend - a.)drill out the hinge holes larger, and fit larger pin and bushing in, or b.)go to junkyard, cut old hinge off other car, and try to find someone to re-weld onto my Blazer? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Answer
The easies, cheapest option is to just have the holes welded, then the hole reamed back to  the proper size. Cutting hinges off of another blazer is extremely time consuming, and is not the realm of DIY people. If the hinges aren't welded into the correct position, the door will never open and lose properly, leak air or water, or all of the above. There may be oversize bushings available, but I don't know of anyone who carries them. I always just repair the holes. Bill
