Auto body repair & detailing: 1995 Civic hatchback radiator support, honda civic hatchback, radiator support

Question
Hello, I have 1995 Honda Civic Hatchback SI and have some questions about the body.

The previous owner hit something and the front collision bar is bent including the little bar in the middle of the radiator support running vertically that helps support the hood latch. The radiator support itself doesnt look that bad but the collision bar definitely needs to be replaced.

My front bumper will not line up correctly. I tried a couple of times to line it up but won't. There is a small gap between the fenders/bumper and headlights/bumper. The bumper is also pushed in about 1/2 inch inwards so the hood does not sit flush w/ the bumper but it does sit flush with the fenders.

It is not the front bumper that the previous owner got into an accident with. He replaced it with a used bumper.

I'm suspecting that the radiator support is causing the misalignment of the front bumper. If I need to replace the radiator support is it bolted on or welded on?

Thanks!

Darren

Answer
These models are difficult to line up the parts. If one component is damaged it throws everything off.You may not need a whole rad. supt. ,but a upper tie bar and hood latch supt.,might do the trick. It is impossible to tell without seeing the car and taking measurements. These parts are all welded in.
