Auto body repair & detailing: paint, pressure gravity, gravity feed

what is a good gun to use for spraying base coat and also a good gun to spray clear coat can i spray both with the same gun? also will orange peel in the base coat show thru the clear coat if i color sand and buff the clear coat? thanks

An HVLP,high volume low pressure,gravity feed gun is a good all around gun.Yes you can use the same gun for base and clear.Peel in base will show somewhat, if you put on thin layers of base and not try to cover too quickly you should not have any peel problems in the base.Metallic colors will show peel more than solid colors do.
