Auto body repair & detailing: front seat repair, seat repairs, upholstery shop

Question
I have a 1992 GMC Suburban K1500 and the bolt that attaches the seat to the track snapped on the driver's side when I leaned back too far.  Does that bolt have a specific name, and how would I go about changing it myself, if at all possible?

Answer
Joe-

This is a bit outside my expertise, but- what I can tell you is take it straight to an upholstery shop for advice. All the dealers leave the seat repairs to the upholsterers. They treat it as a sublet repair. Rarely is any seat, recliner or track repair done in house. GM did have a widespread recall or service bulletin of some sort on these vehicles seat tracks!!!! I can remember the exact affected component. Your upholsterer should be able to fill you in if he has been around awhile. Good Luck!
