Auto body repair & detailing: 1993 dodge ramcharger, rocker pannel rust & behind door, lower pannel rust, small sand blaster, dodge ramcharger

Question
I have a 1993 dodge powerwagon that in pertty much mint condition except for the rocker pannel's & directly behind door same area. Ive been able to locate replacement rocker's but no luck at the lower back end. I have many years of fab and repair experience, so i have good welding skills. the rocker replacement is not an issue, it whats behind it. Ive done some body and rust repair, but at know means no expert. also im not lacking in any body prep tools or small sand blaster. how would you suggest i go about this to make the right decision on how i should go about this repair. thanks robert

Answer
Make sure you completely drill all spotwelds and instead of welding on thew new rockers, try using a panel adhesive. No grinding and rewelding to reinstall the new rockers. If any of the behind material is rusted thru, you can fabricate new pieces and remember to undercoat or they will rust again.
