Auto body repair & detailing: Oxidation on Paint, small circular motion, oxidized paint

Hey Notto i wanted to know what are the best products for removing oxidation from the paint on my 2000 Mitsu Galant before i go out and spend money on products that don't work.  The problem areas are on the hood closer toward the windshield, the roof practically all over that region, and the trunk.

Oxidation is tough to remove and most often it has to be done with a professional buffer and the right compounds.  If you're going to do it by hand, I'd try Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner/Polish.  Use a clean terry cloth rag and small circular motion on a spot and see how it does. You'll have to turn the rag several times, as the oxidized paint will load up the rag.  Let it sit after doing a small area and completely dry out for a minute.  Wipe clean and see what you get.  It may be hard by hand to get it perfectly even.  Follo up Meguiar's Sythetic Sealant.
