Auto body repair & detailing: HOw do I know, rust spot, water leaks

Question
How do I know if my car is to rusty to be repaired? I have a 1966 Chevelle Project, It runs and doesn't look that bad from the exterior but there's rust in both the front windsheild seal and rear, water leaks when it rains hard. Of course the floor pans are pretty bad. p.s. I can send pics

Answer
A 66 Chevelle is a valuable muscle car, and Is almost impossible to be too rusty to fix. There are a mountain of repair panels available, and with some searching, you can find a used roof to graft onto the existing body. A good body man can fix almost any rust spot, with time and proper tools. Don't give up on this project. If its out of your financial grip to fix it, put her on ebay. People will give stupid money for project muscle cars. Bill
