Where would the fuel filter be located on this 98 eclipse

Maureener: Try up on the fire wall, passenger side of the car. You can have the fuel pump tested to see if it is putting out enough fuel. You know don't you that the fuel is what keeps the fuel pump cool if you keep running your car down to empty and I well understand this what with the cost of fuel and all. But if you do this to much you will with time  you will cook that fuel pump. Oh by the way these fuel filters are not so easy to replace, you will most likely have to get a shop to do that for you. Best bet would be to keep your car tank at 1/4 then fill it back up, don't run all the way down to "E". I wish more salesman would tell people this. Hope this helps and God bless: Linda
