Auto body repair & detailing: Body Repair, seam sealer, mike gallagher

Question
I have an 89 Dodge Spirit that was rear ended several years ago.  The damage was bumper only(we thought).  The body  seam along the trunk lid is leaking now.  What do you recommend I use to reseal the seam for a permanent fix.

If the body seam came apart use 3m Seam Sealer (part#8300). Use a caulk gun to apply. Check behind the weather stripping gasket to see if the lip has been damaged. It can be resealed with 3M (part #8008) black or 3M (part #8001) yellow, both come in tubes and can be applied by hand.
