Question
QUESTION: Driver window will not work, it clicks at fuse panel under steering column when pushing down switch. ive removed and checked fuse, it is ok and stopped the clicking when its removed.(that's how I narrowed down which fuse it was)Ive tried opening and closing door with switch down to jar the motor, but didn't accomplish anything. btw, it was working a week ago when last driven. Suggestions? Thank You, Pat

ANSWER: Hello Pat,
I need to know what year your F150 was made. Also, need to know if the window is all the way up or all the way down or in between.

QUESTION: Oh sorry, its an 01 and the window is up from when I parked it about a week ago...

Answer
Hi Pat,

The fact that you can hear the relay pull in when you depress the window button down tells me that the switch is probably okay.  So I am guessing that you have a bad motor or some sort of electrical problem.

I know you have tried slamming the door to jar the motor, but let's try this as well.

- with the engine running and the truck in park

- open the driver door

- with your left hand press and hold down the window switch

- with the bottom of your right fist strike the door panel about half way up from the bottom and about 10 inches from the front of the panel.

Hope this works.  If it doesn't get the motor running you will need to find someone with a 12V test light or an electrical multi-meter to check out the switch and motor circuit.
