Auto Glass: Replacement rear window glass, Chevy Nova

QUESTION: I have a 1974 Chevy Nova and need to replace the rear window. I was hoping to upgrade to one with the rear defrost grid, but don't want to use the glue-on type, such as FrostFighters. The window with grid was an available option in 1974, but extremely rare and I can't find a manufacturer that still makes it. Is there any company that will bake on the electroconductive enamel to an after-market window or some database that I can look at to see if there is a more modern car window with the same or similar dimensions that I can use instead?  Thank you for your time.

QUESTION: The car is a 2-door, although the one source for reproduction glass that I have found (without defrost grid) lists the same glass for both 2 and 4 door.

         No one has or can get one or any of these glasses in heat but I am trying to cross check for you but need to know is it a 2dr Hatchback or Notchback? There is a Block size Difference!!!!!!!!!!

QUESTION: The car is a 1974 2-door Nova coupe. Also, if its possible to find something of the correct shape, but slightly too large, I know a guy who trims glass for hot-rodders who chop their rods.

Hi Jeremiah,


         After Spending 3 hours researching this in my NAGS books I found
that no rear window was ever produced for these part #s Db4010/2 Dr coupe or Db4017 4 Dr sedan

1968-1974

The Block sizes are also different Db 4010 = 26 X 56
The Db 4017 is smaller by 4 inches at        22 X 56


The only Heated Back Glass That I see with the same block size is a Db 4879 at 26 X 56 and it
Belongs to the 1973- 1977 Lemans/Grand Prix 4 Dr Hard top!

It looks like the same glass only it curves out, not in like the Nova back glass
