Auto Glass: mirror, chevy trailblazer, side mirror

my friend has 2005 chevy trailblazer. her passenger side mirror was hit and it cracked. does she need a full replacement or can replacement be the just an after market replacement. there dont appear to be external damage? thanks

You do not need to replace the complete mirror head.
If the glass is just broken you can purchase a replacement piece of glass specifically cut to the size of your vehicle.
