Auto Glass: auto windshelds, NAGS PARTS

Question
Is there a book that shows the size of auto windshields. I am building a kit car and am looking for a windsheld that fits my opening.

Answer
Hi Bruce,

There are books that tell block sizes of Windshields and they are called Nags books.
                          National Auto Glass Specifications.

The only problem with Nags is that there is no one book with every single windshield ever made.

There are Foreign Nags books and Domestic Nags books.

Most Nags books only cover 5-10 Model years at a time.

Windshields are listed by part # not listed by size.

Your best chance at finding a close match to what you need would be to have a Year, Make and Model in mind that you think might work for you and then look it up. Once you the find that Nags part # then you can get the block size of that part#.

If you have a car or two you think might be the one let me know and I will look it up for you!

I have a closet full of Nags books and I still do not have every one!

                                  Hope This Helps! Derek  =D
