QuestionQUESTION: I have a 2001 chevy malibu and the driver side vent window was busted out. I'm not sure how you replace the window. Is is just clipped in like the big window? Is it an easy fix?I know I have to purchase the vent side window do I need the vent assembly also
ANSWER: Hi Faith,
I am not familiar with this vent, part DV09186GTY but it looks like it is a Complete vent assembly that comes with the rubber, glass, and channel all in one! Call around to the junk yards and ask if they have used and install also. The part has a list price of 700.00 for new so anything under 200.00 is Great!!! Labor is 1.7 hrs book time so it is an easy install.

QUESTION: I called around and they said I can just purchase the glass vent on the driver side but I didnt know if it is just glued in or if it has clips or not. I would like to just get the part and have someone put it in. I'm not sure I even need the whole assembly as it was just the vent window that was taken out.
