Automotive Plastics: Restoring plastic, detergent soap, car wax

How can I restore the shine on the plastic  of a four wheeler, (red Yamaha Rhino)   
I used car wax and it turned dull.

Jose, Car wax commonly accumulates in texture depressions. I assume this is your problem. My suggestion is to use a hard toothbrush and a strong detergent(soap)in warm water plus a little sttodart solvent,to get rid of wax.Brush again and again and finally, with a damp cloth apply a mixture of 30% vaseline and 70 % stoddart solvent.
