Auto Parts: 93 chevy silverado tilt steering, emergency flasher, chevy silverado

I have removed everything down to the turn signal plastic works. I can't get the cylinder out, I depressed the copper looking button, but still It is stuck in there. I tried to remove the plastic works, but the emergency flasher won't allow it to get loose. What next?

    I'm not sure what you're trying to do.  Sounds like you have the wheel off and are trying to get the lock cylinder out.  There is a small bolt that passes through a cut in the barrel of the lock cylinder which must be removed.  Then you turn the key back to accessory and depress the little thingy to get the  cylinder out.
