Auto Parts: radiator hoses for 1965 F600 330 v8, radiator repair shop, radiator hoses

Question
My husband and I have been trying to find a bottom radiator hose for his 1965 F600 330 V-8 big block engine. Everywhere we have been to cannot seem to find or get the right hose for this truck. One end of the hose is 2 1/16" and the other end is 2". I have been online for over an hour and a half trying to find one to fit it. This is the only thing that keeps it from running. The old one dry-rotted and busted and we desperately need another bottom radiator hose for it. Any suggestions?

Answer
You probably won't find one online, but if you go into a good parts store (one that has paper catalogs), they will be able to fix you up.  Find an old guy who works there and ask him to look at the dimensional chart of flex hoses in the back of the catalog.  They will list something that will work, and he will be able to order it for you in a day or two.  Another option would be a radiator repair shop in any big city.  Find one that builds and repairs truck radiators, they probably have a stock of larger hoses, one of which will do the job.
