Question
WHAT FLEXPLATE AND ENGINE SPACER PLATE DO I NEED FOR 1970 SB FORD 302 ENGINE WITH 1980 C-6 TRANS

Answer
So far as I know, you shouldn't need any.  However, the C-6 came in two different bellhousing bolt patterns.  One fits the big-block 385 series engines (429, 460, 370, 514) and also, I think, the 400.  The other fits the Windsor blocks and the L6.  You will seldom see a C6 behind a small-block in a passenger car, the C4 and the AOD were much lighter and more than strong enough.  You do see the C6 in pickups and vans with both the Windsor V8s and the 300 L6, the reason being that it is much stronger and it was thought that it would last longer under heavy use.  So, if you really want to use a C6 with your 302, then you need to get one out of a pickup truck and you won't have any problem.  The C6 absorbs a lot more power than the C4, though, so you might want to switch to the smaller trans unless you are using a lot of power adding equipment (supercharger, nitrous, turbo).
