Question
My car's headlamps wont come on. Ive checked the fuses and the bulbs and their fine. Someone told me to check the relay switch, but I dont know where it's located. Could that be the problem?

Answer
This car has headlamps that turn themselves on, unless you have turned them off.  So, we'll assume that the little slide switch is all the way to the right, not all the way to left where it says "OFF."  And, that, just for drill, you've turned the knob all the way to the right, as well.  If the headlights still don't come on, then it almost has to be the relay, although it could still be the switch.  I'm assuming that the parking lights and tail lights do come on; if they don't, it's definitely the switch.  In the fuse box under the hood are most of the relays, although some of them may be in the fuse panel inside the car.  You're looking for a small (maybe 1/2X1 inch) gray plastic box.  When you pull it out you will see four small flat pins, two on either end.  Some of them may have five pins.  They use a very similar relay for the fuel pump.  If you look in your owner's manual, you will find a diagram showing which one is the headlamps (if not in the manual, there may be a chart inside the lid of the box containing the relays).  Since the relay is fairly cheap, I would buy a new one and try it.  If that doesn't work, I'd try the dimmer switch, 'cause it's cheap, as well.  Last resort should be the headlamp switch, as they are pretty expensive.  Of course, if I were there, we could take my digital VOM and figure it out pretty quick; but I can't describe that process, I'd have to show you.  Or, you could take it to a mechanic.  A new relay and a new dimmer switch combined will cost you less than it takes to get a good mechanic to even look at it, so I think that would be the way to go first.
